Looking up your textbooks

There are two easy ways to find your textbooks on our mobile site:
  1. Just put a unit code (ie: PSYC19039) into the search box on any page and hit Search...
  2. To view textbooks for a unit outside the current term, visit Find my textbooks, put in your Campus (ie: Flex) , Year (ie: 2008) and Term (ie: Term 2) and your 9-character unit codes (ie: PSYC19039) and click Submit. Each book has its Stock Level and Order Status displayed. Click on any to see more information.

CQUni Bookshop Terms and Conditions


For the purposes of the following:

'university' refers to Central Queensland University.'

'CQUni Bookshop' refers to the Central Queensland University Bookshop.

'defective or damaged' means items that either do not match the product description, are not in reasonable condition (e.g. a misbound book), or are faulty.

'original condition' means items in original shrink-wrapping with any enclosed CDs, disks, licenses or passwords unopened, unwashed and with any tags intact.

Placing an order with CQUni Bookshop constitutes an agreement to abide by these terms and conditions where they do not violate statutory consumer rights.

Refund and Replacement claims are only considered for CQUniversity logo clothing, defective or damaged items. Claims must be made within three working days of receipt and the merchandise received by CQUni Bookshop no later than 14 days after the claim. CQUni Bookshop reserves the right to verify whether any item (including electronic goods, computer software, hardware and peripherals) is defective or damaged.

CQUniversity logo clothing may only be returned for a replacement garment of the same type in a different size (an 'exchange'). Handling fees and freight charges will apply if a claim is rejected. All items must be securely wrapped in original condition and accompanied by a copy of the receipt and a written claim. CQUni Bookshop undertakes to promptly process your claim and notify you of the outcome.

Shipping and handling expenses will only be refunded if the customer receives the wrong item or a damaged item, and no additional freight will be charged to a replacement item in this instance.

Refunds will be credited only to the credit card or university internal costing used in the original transaction.

Where the CQUniversity Bookshop agrees to undertake overseas fulfilment, we require indemnity for any issues arising in the destination country, including but not limited to: missed delivery dates, customs withholding, import and other duties (which will be charged back to the purchaser) and goods missing or damaged in transit.

If the customer chooses to forego optional insurance when ordering, CQUni Bookshop accepts no liability for damage to goods in transit, short delivery or non-delivery.

The customer hereby indemnifies CQUni Bookshop against any business or personal loss as a result of damage to goods in transit, short delivery or non-delivery.

Wherever possible, we will, in good faith, attempt to procure and deliver goods according to quote and seek redress for losses. Where this is not possible, the purchaser agrees to cover all costs involved.

Unless stated otherwise by the Customer in the Comments section of the order, selecting the Domestic Freight method of delivery gives authority for the goods to be left at the nominated address without signature.

All prices are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice. Online pricing may differ from prices available in campus stores.

The customer shall make payment in full against CQUni Bookshop invoices. Notwithstanding that delivery may have been made, title in any products sold by CQUni Bookshop shall not pass to the customer until payment in full has been received for the invoice of same. CQUni Bookshop shall be entitled to an unpaid vendor lien on the goods until payment is received.

Settlement of accounts must be made in full within thirty days of date of statement, otherwise an account is regarded as overdue and CQUni Bookshop reserves the right to stop supply on any overdue accounts. If settlement of an account exceeds 60 days, the account will be passed to the CQUniversity Australia Finance Division for debt collection. Goods remain the property of CQUniversity Australia until payment is fully received.

Bursaries and Scholarships credit is redeemed through account charge, either in a single purchase or over multiple purchases. If goods charged against bursaries and scholarships accounts exceed remaining credit, goods will not be dispatched until paid in full. Unused bursaries and scholarships credit cannot be redeemed for cash and no change will be given. Bursaries and scholarships credit and accounts expire when the account holder is no longer a student of the university or as otherwise directed by university.

University departmental orders require a valid internal recharge cost code or will be deemed unauthorised and remain unprocessed. Payments will be deducted from University departmental accounts at the end of the month in which the order is made.

Agreed university payroll deductions will be made fortnightly from commencement date until the customer ceases employment with the university or notifies CQUni Bookshop they no longer require an ongoing deduction. When a customer notifies CQUni Bookshop they no longer require an ongoing payroll deduction, the customer must make alternative arrangements to cover outstanding debt within 30 days or the account will be passed to university finance for debt collection.

In the absence of an alternative arrangement to cover outstanding debt, the university will deduct outstanding balances from final salary payments when the customer ceases to be employed by the university.

CQUni Bookshop accounts may only be accessed by authorised users, and account details are to be securely stored.
