Part-time students and teachers are eligible to purchase Student and Teacher Editions as long as they qualify per the terms stated above.
Inside the box, there is a product CD or DVD and instructions about how to request the required serial number from Adobe. As with the commercial versions of the software, all documentation is provided in electronic form on the CD or DVD; there is no printed manual included in the box. Once you receive the software, you can install it and start using the trial for 30 days. Proof of eligibility must be submitted to Adobe after purchase in order to receive a serial number to continue using your Student and Teacher Edition. Instructions on submitting your proof of eligibility will be included inside your Student and Teacher Edition box.

Do Student and Teacher Editions have restricted functionality?
Student and Teacher Editions provide all the features and functionality of the commercial versions. The software may be used only on a privately owned computer.
Is there a time limit on using Student and Teacher Editions?
There is no time limit. Eligible users who purchase a Student and Teacher Edition product receive a perpetual license.
Can a student or teacher use a Student and Teacher Edition for commercial use?
Yes. Those who purchase this product can use it for personal as well as commercial use.
How many copies of a Student and Teacher Edition can be purchased?
You may purchase only one license per platform of any Adobe Student and Teacher Edition product per year. Purchases of suite editions (such as Design & Web Premium or Master Collection) are limited to one title per platform per year. Adobe Student and Teacher Edition products may be used only on your privately owned computer and may not be resold.
Can a student or teacher use the Student and Teacher Edition on more than one computer?
Student and Teacher Edition software may be installed on two computers only and may not be used concurrently. A software activation process performed online validates usage rights.
May Student and Teacher Editions be resold or transferred?
No. Adobe Student and Teacher Edition software products may not be sold or given to others for free.
May a student or teacher continue to use Student and Teacher Editions after graduation or upon completion of training?
Yes. After graduation or upon completion of training, the person may continue to use Adobe Student and Teacher Edition software.
Can Student and Teacher Editions be used on a computer at a school or university?
No. Student and Teacher Editions may be used on the licensee’s own private computer only
Can Student and Teacher Editions be upgraded?
